ATHLETES

Johnson attended Dominguez High School in Compton where he lettered all four yours. After being named League Defensive MVP both Junior and Senior year as well as CIF Defensive Player of the year, Johnson still had ZERO scholarship offers. Finally he received his only full athletic scholarship offer to Boise State University. Johnson accepted his scholarship and after graduating from Dominguez he was on his way to Boise, Idaho ready to continue chasing the dream.

During his time at Boise State, Johnson would go on to be a four year starter, earning all conference his final 3 seasons. Finishing his career top 5 in program history with 328 tackles and 8 interceptions, It was time to move on to the NFL draft. Johnson was expected to be drafted as early as the 3rd round in the 2011 NFL Draft, after watching the entire Draft and not hearing his name called it was time to prove the doubters wrong again.

Johnson went on to sign with the Seattle Seahawks as an Undrafted Free Agent. Making the team and being able to make a lifelong dream was the only thing that mattered, and Johnson was going to do whatever he needed to do. After training camp and all four pre-season games were complete, Johnson learned that he had earned a spot on the Seahawks official 2011 53 man roster. That kid was living his lifelong dream, but it didn’t end there. The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl 48 making Johnson a World Champion.

After playing 7 seasons in the NFL, Johnson hung up his playing cleats and was ready to give back to the game and the youth. Johnson decided to start coaching and teaching at Eastside Catholic High School in Seattle, Washington winning back to back state championships. His time would be cut short at Eastside, after receiving an opportunity to go back to his Alma Mater Boise State to coach the Cornerbacks. With his family dynamic making it difficult to be all in on his job, Johnson had to make the decision to step down to be closer with his kids.

Once the decision was made to leave Boise, Johnson packed up and headed back to the Los Angeles area. Ready to give back to the youth that come from the same situations that he faced growing up. Not only training but mentoring as well teaching and talking with them sharing with them his experiences and different obstacles he faced. Johnson also is working with NFL, Collegiate, and civilians to meet their fitness and athletic goals.
